These techniques are fundamental in various sectors, including engineering, aeronautics, and the metalworking and petroleum industries. <\/p>\n The certification of personnel<\/strong> performing NDT is vital. A Level III certified officer is authorised<\/strong> to assume full responsibility<\/strong> for a testing laboratory<\/strong> or examination centre<\/strong> and its staff. He is authorized<\/strong> to issue<\/strong>, review<\/strong> and validate<\/strong> procedures in<\/strong> non-destructive testing, as well as to perform<\/strong> and supervise assignments<\/strong> at all levels. He is also able to provide<\/strong> training<\/strong> courses in the field of NDT for the methods<\/strong> in which he is certified<\/strong>. <\/p>\n The certification<\/strong> of NDT personnel not only guarantees<\/strong> the quality<\/strong> and reliability<\/strong> of controls, but also helps to prevent accidents<\/strong>, improve safety<\/strong> and reduce costs.
