The purpose<\/strong> of this practice is to certify as a Third Party Body<\/strong> that the minimum safety requirements<\/strong> are guaranteed<\/strong> and the operation of the plant is safe<\/strong> for the people<\/strong> who live in those work environments.
The periodicity of the checks varies depending on the type of system<\/strong> and the place<\/strong> where it is installed:
> Every 2 years<\/strong> for systems with characteristics that fall within the scope of the activities subject to fire prevention<\/strong> controls or that are identified with at least medium fire risk in DVR<\/strong>, or in systems installed in medical environments or construction sites<\/strong>. This includes hospitals<\/strong>, nursing homes<\/strong>, surgeries<\/strong> and doctors’ surgeries<\/strong>, construction sites<\/strong> and places at increased risk<\/strong> in the event of fire such as textile industries<\/strong>, petrol stations<\/strong> or garages<\/strong>.
