PED CERTIFICATION

Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) on risk control and safety for pressure equipment requires compliance with essential safety requirements of all systems (assemblies) and individual equipment operating at a maximum allowable pressure exceeding 0.5 bar relative (e.g. boilers, pressure vessels, pipes and accessories) placed on the European market.

When placed on the market, the manufacturer must affix the CE marking and issue the declaration of conformity.

The PED Directive identifies the manufacturer as responsible for the construction, with the intervention of the Notified Body for the conformity assessment in the cases provided for

We operate on behalf of accredited bodies and through inspectors present in our staff we are responsible for certifying new constructions or modifications of pressure equipment of any type, from category II to IV. We have experience in vessels, pipes, steam generators and valves and on different calculation codes.

CR Inspection is RTPO in PED Directive and is present on NANDO for the approval of personnel involved in non-destructive testing on PED equipment (and is also ISO17024 accredited for the voluntary certification scheme ISO9712:2022)
